Gainesville is the recipient of a 2021 Insurify’s Best Cities for Singles Award.
Gainesville has been awarded Insurify’s Best Cities for Singles Award for the state of Florida in 2021. Winning cities were identified based on an analysis of single populations and the benefits available to them from their communities.
Cities were given scores based on the following criteria: a higher single population; an affordable cost of living, including rent and restaurant meals; and overall interest in online dating over the past five years. The scores were used to determine the most singles-friendly city in each state.
“In Greater Gainesville, we aim to be a destination for people in all stages of life, and it’s an honor to be recognized as a welcoming place for singles.” Greater Gainesville Chamber CEO Eric Godet said. “This is yet another sign of a healthy community for all.”
