COLLABORATE 2025

As the designated economic development organization of the Greater Gainesville Region, the Greater Gainesville Chamber is committed to developing the community through comprehensive five-year strategies. The sunsetting of our previous five-year strategy–Transforming Greater Gainesville–leads into the implementation of our next five-year strategy: COLLABORATE 2025. Explore the mission of COLLABORATE 2025 and learn about the three pillars of the strategy: talent, opportunity and place.

If you’d like to contribute financial or in-kind to the development of the Greater Gainesville Region, please reach out to Staci Bertrand, our VP of Economic Development at staci@gainesvillechamber.com

The Greater Gainesville RegionThe Three Pillars of our StrategyOur New Focus Industries The Steering Committee

In 2017 the Greater Gainesville Chamber hired consulting agency Market Street to deeply investigate the Gainesville Community in all its aspects, and to produce a development strategy for the entire region. This strategy is not for the Chamber, it is for everyone in the community. It’s stated purpose is to “Raise levels of prosperity and improve quality of life for all current and future residents.” This strategy takes into account pre-existing strategies published by entities like Alachua County, the City of Gainesville, the University of Florida and more.
