International Council
The International Council was formed in 2014 with the goal of connecting companies and leaders with international business opportunities, advocacy, and training programs to help grow the region’s exports in the global marketplace. The mission of the Council is to leverage our higher education to make Greater Gainesville a global hub for business, culture and education. The Greater Gainesville region is home to over 40 companies representing 13 foreign countries, including Canada, England, Germany, India, Japan and the Netherlands.
