Are you interested in increasing the diversity in your workplace and hiring employees who can make tremendous contributions to your organization? An amazing yet underutilized group of people are those with disabilities. Therefore, it is with much joy and pleasure that I invite you, on behalf of the University of Florida’s Disability Resource Center and Student Government, to participate at the first ever “You’re Hired” event.

2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

This 3-hour event will feature many experts in different fields pertaining to disabilities, thought provoking activities and networking opportunities that will stir up a community conversation on how we can help make a difference in the lives of students with disabilities. If UF can help better prepare its students for the workforce, then everyone wins! This symposium will give you the opportunity to give back to the community by helping us enable our students and by standing alongside us as we discuss ways we can impact the hiring practices within our organizations.
