What is Inclusive Gainesville?

Inclusive Gainesville is a holistic, community-wide initiative launched by the Greater Gainesville Chamber and anchor stakeholders to build a more inclusive and equitable community for everyone in our region. Economic development is the driver of economic success, and research studies, community conversations and neighborhood workshops have highlighted our long-standing economic inequities. Inclusive Gainesville will work to improve wage equity and growth potential by focusing on workforce development and diverse business inclusion. Practical tools will include digital resources, personal connections and a minority business accelerator.

More details to come. To reserve your spot at this important event, register today. For more information, contact Ian Fletcher, VP of Talent & Education, ian@gainesvillechamber.com.

  • Workforce Development

  • Supplier Diversity

Activation Elements:

  • Inclusive Gainesville Minority Business Accelerator (IGMBA)

  • Matchmaking activities matching minority-owned businesses with companies that need their product or service

  • Support for stakeholders businesses looking for guidance in this area (workshops, zooms, etc.)
