Application Information
- A completed Application form must be submitted in order to be considered for an award.
- Your business may wish to be considered in more than one category. A separate application must be submitted for each category you wish to be considered in. One application per category.
- Applications will be accepted from current chamber members in good standing.
- Answers may be in the form of bullet points instead of essay format when applicable.
- Please limit each answer to a maximum of 250 words.
- Businesses applying are encouraged to include any relevant images or documents. Images will be limited to 5. Submit this attachment via email to businessapplications@gainesvillechamber.com.
- A staff or team photo must be included. (Staff photos may be used at the event). Submit this attachment via email to businessapplications@gainesvillechamber.com.
- The judging criteria for the 2021 Business Awards is based on the information submitted in the application packet tha demonstrates how your business stands out as a leader in the Greater Gainesville Region.
- Finalists and winners will be selected by a panel of judges made up of local business leaders and past award winners. Chamber Staff will not participate as judges. All judges’ decisions are final.
- In order to create a fair judging process, a minimum of three different applicants are required for each category.
- The application fee has been waived this year.
- You will be required to submit a high-resolution business logo with each application in .jpg,.pdf, .ai, or .eps format. Submit this attachment via email to businessapplications@gainesvillechamber.com.
- All finalists will be recognized and winners will be announced at the Business Awards Celebration, December 1, 2021.
- All completed applications are due on or before 4:00 PM on October 8, 2021.
