Do you have any tips for recession stressed business owners?

The FAMEE (Foundation for the Advancement of Marketing Excellence in Entrepreneurs) offers some marketing tips that I think are very helpful:

1. Keep your cool. Turn off the news if you need too.

2. It’s not what you do that makes the difference, but how well you do it.

3. Get close to your customers.

4. Resist the temptation to discount.

5. Look for “deals” to promote and expand.

6. Look for opportunities to innovate.

7. Focus on what you can control.

8. Be optimistic -- pessimism REPELS customers.
