Get revved up for the annual Gatornationals Chamber After Hours
Wednesday, March 10 from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Gainesville Raceway.
As always, this After Hours promises to be a fantastic evening of food,
prizes and networking. Don't worry about the weather--this event will be covered.
We will also be filming testimonials to bring the Google fiber optic trial to Gainesville. Come to the raceway ready to answer the question: Why a Gig for Gainesville? Admission is $10 for members and $20 for future
members. You do not need to register for this event. Welcome racers

The election is March 16, but you can vote early from March 8 to March 13 at the County Administration Building at 12 SE 1st Street.
2010 Leadership Gainesville Applications are Available
Leadership Gainesville (LG) is a year-long community leadership program
designed to identify, educate and develop leadership skills. Each year,
approximately 40 individuals are selected to participate following
completion of a competitive application process. LG provides the
opportunity to develop leadership skills by networking with individuals
in the community that represent business, law, religion, civic groups,
the arts, minority organizations, education, health care, government,

Register Today to Advocate for the Heart of Florida
Join business and community leaders from Alachua and Marion Counties March 17 and travel to Tallahassee to meet with legislators and advocate for our region. Participants will hear from our region's political leaders on issues impacting Florida and the Gainesville area, and they will have the opportunity to develop relationships with our regional delegation and staff.
The day will start with the Alachua County Delegation Breakfast and a legislative briefing from the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Appointments with elected officials will follow, and we will end the day with the Heart of Florida Days Reception.
