James Moore Welcomes Six New Hires and Announces Promotion

James Moore, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants (James Moore) is pleased to welcome Debbie Cronin, Travis Swanger, Samantha Argus-Boylard, Janice Kaplan, Jennifer DiCapua and Asja Long to the firm.

Cronin has been hired as a Receptionist. She has over 11 years of administrative assistant experience. Prior to joining the firm, Cronin worked at North Florida Christian School, where she served as Senior Secretary. As a Receptionist, Cronin will answer, screen and forward all incoming phone calls to the Tallahassee office; greet and direct visitors; receive mail deliveries; and perform other clerical duties as needed.

Swanger will serve as a Data Entry Assistant. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida. Prior to joining the firm, he held a variety of assistant and customer service-oriented positions. Swanger’s responsibilities will include data entry, mailings and filing services in the Accounting & Controlling Services (ACS) Department. Argus-Boylard will serve as a Data Entry Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Business Management from Saint Leo University. Prior to joining the firm, ArgusBoylard was a Front Office Clerk and Shelter Advocate at CASA in Inverness, FL, where she performed a variety of administrative tasks and performed case management and crisis intervention services. ArgusBoylard’s responsibilities will include data entry, mailings and filing services in the Accounting & Controlling Services (ACS) Department.

Kaplan has been hired as a Content Marketing Specialist. She has over 15 years of experience in planning, writing and editing content for a variety of channels and industries and received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida. Prior to joining the firm she worked as a Senior Marketing Writer at Optym, where she wrote and edited copy for a variety of company materials and helped coordinate marketing events. As the Content Marketing Specialist, Kaplan will create and edit content for the website, eblasts, proposals, social media and more, as well as assist in the coordination and execution of marketing events and activities.

DiCapua will serve as a Marketing Coordinator. She has nearly 15 years of experience in marketing, design and project management and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as an Advertising Account Executive with Screenvision and was a freelance graphic and web designer. As the Marketing Coordinator, DiCapua will focus on graphic design, coordination of marketing support activities and firm events, conduct sales activities, and assist in managing project timelines/deadlines and production schedules. Long is a part-time Office Assistant. She recently received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Florida, where she worked for over a year as a student assistant for the College of Health & Human Performance.

As an Office Assistant, Long will provide general office support including coding and scanning documents, assisting in the ordering and distribution of office supplies, serving as back-up receptionist, and assisting with other related office and clerical duties. The firm is also pleased to announce that Blair Westfall has been promoted to full-time Receptionist. Westfall will answer, screen and forward all incoming phone calls to the Gainesville office; greet and direct visitors; receive mail deliveries; and perform other clerical duties as needed. He joined the firm in 2015.
