Help UF Students Raise $200,000 in 26.2 hoursNovember 6th, 2015 by gainesvillechamber
On November 17th, the UF student-run charity Dance Marathon will attempt to achieve something no school has ever accomplished by raising $200,000 in 26.2 hours. To make this a community-wide movement, the students are asking local businesses to participate in a dress down day, where their employees can swap out their business attire for casual clothes. So how can you join the movement?
- Commit to joining the historical movement of raising $200,000 in 26.2 hours!
- Promote Transform Today to your employees, and get the whole office in on the fun!
- Collect $5 from each employee that decides to participate.
- On November 17th, wear casual, comfortable clothes to work all while supporting the kids at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital!
Did you know a $5 donation could supply 10 diapers for a premature baby and a $25 donation could provide five baby blankets? Best of all—your donation stays local to help kids right here in Gainesville. If your office decides to participate, the Dance Marathon team will come take pictures and post them on their Facebook with over 12,000 followers announcing that your business “Transformed the Day” and joined this record-breaking movement.
