We Need Your Feedback By Thursday!

The all-member survey focused on implementing internship programs in target industry sectors will close Thursday, Aug. 6.

Each Chamber member should have received a 4-6-question survey via email on July 15. The purpose of this survey is to gauge member interest in developing a new or maintaining their current internship program. The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Talent Alignment and Education committee is exploring a set of solutions that will best provide businesses the assistance needed to develop and implement an internship program.

The Talent Alignment and Education committee oversees the programs and projects of the Chamber’s workfortace development division, specifically to support and enhance education and the development of a a more productive, skilled and inclusive workforce in Alachua County, FL. One committee goal is to better connect talent with real-world learning opportunities by encouraging and assisting businesses to create internships in advanced manufacturing, technology, life science, healthcare, logistics and agriculture.
