More than 100 people visited the downtown space that will be the creative nexus for UX: Gainesville—an initiative aiming to create a more service-oriented, user-centered approach to city government—for the next eight weeks. Please take time out during this time to visit the downtown space, located at 621 W. University Ave. to share feedback about what they think is working well in Gainesville as well as what needs improvement and ideas about how to make the improvements. UX: Gainesville is a collaborative partnership with The Blue Ribbon Advisory Committee on Economic Competitiveness and IDEO, an award-winning global design and innovation consultation firm. Led by Chairman Mitch Glaeser—who also is the Chamber Board of Directors’ Immediate Past Chairman—the Blue Ribbon Advisory Committee on Economic Competitiveness aims to make Gainesville more competitive, and the best place to live and do business in the State of Florida.
