LG Class 42 Kicks Off

LG symbolLeadership Gainesville Class 42 got underway Friday evening at the Sweetwater Branch Inn with a reception, remarks and an ice-breaker for this year’s 47 participants.

Class 42 will be the first group to participate in a revamped Leadership Gainesville program designed to focus more specifically on leadership, while also providing the regional education the course is known for. For instance, class members will participate in in-depth issues seminars as well as activities designed to broaden their perspectives on how issues translate across the demographic and socioeconomic stratosphere.

“Gainesville is evolving, and the way we prepare the next generation of leaders has to evolve also,” said Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Operations Adrian Taylor. “Leadership Gainesville is designed to be a more in-context learning experience as it relates to current events and issues.”

Leadership Gainesville 42 will run through May 2016. It’s never too early to let us know you are interested in participating in a future class. For more information, contact Adrian Taylor.
