The Kick-off is Over, but Restaurant Week Will Continue for Six More Days

GRW15 image1If you weren’t among the more than 800 people who poured into the Gainesville Regional Aiport Thursday night for the 2015 Restaurant Week kick-off, you missed a treat. But never to fear—you still have six days to take advantage of special deals and dishes served up by this year’s 41 participants.

“This year’s response demonstrates our region’s love of both cuisine and community,” said Gainesville Area Chamber Interim President/CEO Susan Davenport. “I think I speak for most of our members when I say that the Chamber is very proud to be the backbone organization for an event that is beloved by the community, but also strengthens the regional summer economy.”

Restaurant Week will run through June 28. For a list of participating establishments, visit gainesvillerestaurantweek.com. There’s a restaurant for every palette during Restaurant Week, with food choices ranging from American, to Asian, to Italian and more. Chances are, if you have a taste for it, Restaurant Week has it. Don’t forget to download the Gift Certificates and More app to access special deals on the go. Those with earlier model mobile devices may visit giftcertificatesandmore.com to access and print the deals for redemption.
