The Community Foundation of North Central Florida awarded Charles Perry Partners, Inc. and Chairman/President Breck Weingart its 2015 Corporate Legacy Award, which recognizes a company that exemplifies giving back to their community through volunteerism and charitable giving.
Since 1968, CPPI founder, Charles “Chuck” R. Perry made philanthropy his personal and professional mission. Chuck’s love and dedication to giving back to the communities he served became the culture of CPPI and the legacy he passed on to the principals today. “This award underscores CPPI’s commitment to stewardship, which is one of our core values,” said CPPI Chairman Breck Weingart.
During his acceptance of the 2015 Corporate Legacy Award, Breck reflected on what he and his partners learned from Chuck. “There are two very important lessons that stand out. The first is how imperative it is we give back to our community as the return on investment is immeasurable. Secondly, our organization is only as good as the people we surround ourselves with and we are blessed to have an outstanding group of folks as part of our CPPI family.”
In closing, Breck thanked those in the room and assured the community that, “he and his partners remain committed to operating CPPI in a fashion that we believe would make Chuck proud.”
