Jones Edmunds recently gave a behind-the-scenes tour of the Paynes Prairie Sheetflow Restoration project in Gainesville for local engineers.
More than 70 ASCE Gainesville members recently got a sneak preview of the Paynes Prairie Sheetflow Restoration project ahead of the site’s official opening in late May. Here, Walt Nickel (on the right with clipboard), PE, Civil/Environmental Director of Jones Edmunds leads the group on a walking tour of the 250-acre gatorhead-shaped project that will restore natural drainage to wetlands and provide over 3.5 miles of recreational trails. Jones Edmunds provided planning, design, permitting, and construction administration services for the project.
