November 2nd, 2012 by gainesvillechamberTracy Bachmann has been named president and chief operating officer at PRO iNK, Gainesville’s longest operating marketing strategy and communications firm. Terry Van Nortwick, the firm’s founder, continues as board chair and chief executive officer.
“Over the past 33+ years, we have had many talented and gifted people on our team at PRO iNK, but Tracy Bachmann has risen to the top as a strong and dynamic leader. She has the talent, experience, energy and passion to lead PRO iNK to its next phase,” said Van Nortwick.
“Terry has built the best communications team in North Florida – probably in the entire Southeast – writers, designers, illustrators, web developers, printers, photographers and public relations strategists. Add to that the connections she has made locally and nationally over the past 33 years and you have a real dream team,” said Bachmann, who has been with PRO iNK for seven years. “I’m thrilled and honored to take over leadership of this amazing group.”
PRO iNK is a boutique communications marketing firm that partners with businesses to help them grow and prosper. The firm’s work includes strategic communications planning, issues management, advertising campaigns and digital and print marketing materials. PRO iNK has always had diverse clients from North Florida and across the country, including GRU, Florida Citizens Bank, Shands HealthCare, Gator Boosters, RTI Biologics, Innovative Scheduling, Caton & Taylor, American Renewables, Boston College, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Chuy’s Mexican Restaurant.
The company’s 2500-square-foot office, located three blocks from Satchel’s Pizza, is for sale and PRO iNK will relocate after the building’s sale.
“We work remotely with many of our partners, so we no longer need this much space,” said Bachmann. Moving to smaller quarters will help keep overhead and associated costs lower, said Bachmann.
