VisitGainesville Looking For The Most Welcoming Gator Fans In The Welcome Missouri Photo Contest

VisitGainesville is sponsoring an online photo contest from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4 to find the most Welcoming Gator Fans for the University of Missouri football game.

The University of Missouri Tigers are coming to Gainesville on Saturday, Nov. 3^rd for their first game against the University of Florida Gators. As Gator Fans welcome the University of Missouri Tigers in their most creative and friendliest ways they should take a picture of themselves. Participants can enter and submit their photo on www.facebook.com/visitgainesvilleflorida. After all the entries are submitted on Nov. 4^th, Facebook users will then be able to vote for their favorite picture until Nov. 7^th. The winner of the contest will receive a $200 Visa Gift Card and a basket filled with Gator souvenirs.

“Gator Fans should keep in mind that some of these out of town visitors have never visited Florida and it is great time to show our southern hospitality. VisitGainesville would like to show the Tiger Fans the how happy we are that they are visiting Gainesville,” says Roland Loog, Executive Director at VisitGainesville.  “We may be a tough team to beat on the field but we want them to feel comfortable visiting our city and would love to have them to stay longer or plan a trip back Gainesville.” Loog says.
