The Arc of Alachua County to Showcase New National Branding

The Arc of Alachua County is ready to reveal its change and progression to the Alachua County community and its statewide supporters.

The Arc of Alachua County will host its Annual Meeting Oct. 17th, at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center from noon until 1 p.m., with doors opening at 11:30 a.m.

The meeting’s theme will focus on promoting change and looking forward to new and exciting opportunities.
Master of Ceremonies Myra Monroe will be bringing her GTN news anchor personality to the Annual Meeting in support of The Arc.

She will be speaking in front of a crowd of an estimated 150 people. The attendance at this year’s event is projected to increase compared to the 2011 Annual Meeting.

Bryan Harned, The Arc of Alachua County development and design director, has been planning the meeting for the last few months.

“The Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to get our supporters together, talk about the last year, and look forward to the upcoming year at The Arc,” Harned said. “And, this year, we have some really exciting news.”

This year’s Annual Meeting is helping to welcome The Arc of Alachua County’s new nationwide branding, in an effort to raise awareness and possibilities for the organization, those served and its supporters.
